How much of a calorie deficit do I need for weight loss?

A daily deficit of around 200-500 calories per day is recommended for sustainable weight loss.But remember that every person’s calorie requirements vary depending on lifestyle and environmental factors. Also be wary of setting unrealistic targets as this can lead to a lack of adherence.


The calculator will create a deficit of 200 but feel free to reduce by up to 500. The best way to get started is to track your calories for a day or two to see how many you are having at the moment and go from there.
